I really love the leash, but I don’t particularly care for the waist belt for running with my dog. She likes to sprint for about the first mile and generally runs in front of me, making the waist belt very uncomfortable. The D-rings on the side make the belt very awkward for a front-pulling dog. And there isn’t enough padding on the belt to make it comfortable when dealing with that kind of force. I like the compartment design of the OneTrail belt, but the lack of padding and being limited to having the dog alongside you for the belt to sit properly is going to keep me from reaching for this belt for our runs.
Heavy duty and so easy to use. We set up an entire campsite while our 45lb dog was attached to my waist. No trouble at all!
This worked so well for my new puppy and five year old dog for a double vet visit! Cant wait to walk both when the pup is fully vaccinated!
When I received my hands free leash and I was so excited about getting it so I could take my dog on hikes with a little more ease. The day after I got it we tried it out. As we got outside my dog Oakley saw another dog outside and began pulling down the side walk. As the leash was attached to my waist he pulled and it snapped the Fanny pack from my waist breaking the clip and Oakley took off down the street with the Fanny pack and leash trailing behind him.
I really like the idea of this but I didn’t get a chance to really use it and see how it would work.
We love our one trail hands free dog leash. We used it on a trail this past week and it was so freeing! It is bungee style so if the dog pulls a lot may be difficult.
