I was looking for a small everyday bag. I don’t carry a conventional purse. It fits my needs perfectly in order to carry my wallet, personal items, and my IPad. I absolutely love it.
The size and quality are excellent!
I love this bag for a day hike, it holds everything I need and it is comfortable to wear. I ordered the teal color and it is exactly as pictured, love the color!
I've had this backpack so far for a couple of weeks. I bought it because I often go on single day hikes with my boyfriend and our friends, and I barely need to bring anything. I usually take two 20 oz waterbottles, sunscreen, phone, keys, wallet, glasses case, and a couple of snacks. I also like the multiple compartments.
Some reviews claim that the water bottle holders on the sides are too small, but I haven't had a problem. Maybe it's because I use 20 oz water bottles made by Contigo that are more narrow. I still think slightly larger water bottles than my own would fit. Regular plastic grocery store water bottles definitely fit. I actually do like that the fit is snug because I don't want them falling out. I also bet you could stretch them out more over time.
All of my items fit in there with room to spare, but not in an oversized sense where I should have gotten a smaller size pack. It's really just the perfect size.
I also have taken it to work in substitution of a purse.
I bought the crimson color. The rest of the reviews are right when they say that there is a slight purplish/pinkish hue to it. It isn't just dark red. I actually purchased that color FOR that reason, and I'm not disappointed, but I could understand if others are upset by it not meeting that expectation. I cannot speak on the other colors.
The backpack is pretty light. When empty, I can easily hold it by the top loop with my pinky finger. It's durable though. The material doesn't feel thin and cheap or like any threads will come out. Some people in the reviews have mentioned the zippers being difficult to use, but I have not had this problem. The zippers move smoothly for me and have not gotten stuck.
The front strap is not for women who are large-chested. (Luckily?) that is not really a problem for me because I'm more on the slender side in that department.. lol. I also have never used front straps in any backpack ever. The front strap also has a little whistle, but it's plastic and doesn't really work, so I find that to be a bit gimmicky. But, again, not something I was even looking for so I don't regard it as a loss.
Overall, good size, nice little compartments, holds everything I need for a single day hike, lightweight, seems durable, and nice color. Pretty stoked!
Feels like wearing a hug and it’s very useful. Going to buy similar backpack, but bigger for carrying computer and such to work
